I figure that it is important to be true to my readers so here it goes.
For the past 2 weeks I have been having an affair.. His name is Cheazday and we have been seeing each other for the past two Saturdays.. While I must say the time I do spend with him is very enjoyable I am rotting with guilt by the end of the night. Most times we go out as we wouldn’t want any evidence from our rendezvous to be found.. He is what I long for all week, the key to my successes and believe me he is handsome..
Okay, Okay.. You know me better than that.. I am talking about my CHEAT DAY!!! This Saturday it went a bit like this:
9:00am Breakfast was Dim Sum with Daddy-o and it was delicious!!!
11:00am FroYo at Menchies Frozen Yogurt with yummy toppings
12:00pm Snack Party mix
5:00pm Burger and Yam fries at Sunset Burgers
8:00pm Toasted waffles and Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream
It all seemed like a great idea until after.. I felt tired, full and lethargic.. Not to mention, I think my taste buds have gotten over it. The food I used to love is now okay and the thought of anything deep-fried repulses me..
I enjoy coming up with new ideas and being in the kitchen and that being said, I think we will skip out cheat days for the next two weeks. Look forward to new recipes soon!
